Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Yummy Analytics ("Yummy", "the Service"). By installing or using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
1. The service
Yummy is a Shopify app that reads data from your Shopify store and connected third-party analytics tools, then generates insight reports and audits to help you run your store. See our Privacy Policy for what we collect and why.
2. Your account
You must have a Shopify store in good standing and authority to install apps on it. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
3. Billing
Paid plans are billed through Shopify's managed billing system. Fees, trial length, and plan inclusions are shown at checkout. Shopify handles charges, refunds (if any), and taxes per their terms.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Resell, sublicense, or expose the Service to users outside your own shop without our prior written consent.
- Reverse-engineer or attempt to extract source code.
- Use the Service to violate any law or any third party's rights.
- Abuse the Service in a way that degrades performance for other users (e.g. unreasonable automated polling).
5. Data & AI
Yummy uses Anthropic's Claude API to generate reports. Generated reports are based on your data but are not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular decision. Use them as a starting point, not a replacement for your own judgment.
6. Availability
We aim for high uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance and unplanned outages happen. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available."
7. Termination
You can uninstall Yummy from your Shopify admin at any time. On uninstall we stop processing your data and delete it per our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate the Service for any account that violates these terms.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Yummy is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or revenues. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. If we change them materially, we'll notify you in-app or by email. Continued use after the change means you accept the updated terms.
